CPO Roundtable 2026

Procurement has entered a new phase. Innovation is no longer about experimentation—it’s about scaling what works.

The EIPM CPO Roundtable brings together senior procurement leaders to explore how organizations are transforming procurement through enterprise-wide innovation, turning pilots into platforms and ambition into measurable impact.

AI in Procurement: From Pilot to Platform

The procurement function is at an inflection point. Early AI adopters have proven the value in spend analytics, supplier risk assessment, and contract intelligence. Now the challenge shifts from experimentation to enterprise-wide implementation. We’ll examine practical strategies for scaling AI solutions across categories, overcoming data quality barriers, and building the organizational capabilities needed to realize sustainable value.

Circular Economy: Closing the Loop on Value Creation
As sustainability moves from compliance to competitive advantage, procurement leaders are reimagining supply chains through circular principles. From designing for reuse and remanufacturing to establishing reverse logistics networks, we’ll discuss how CPOs are scaling circular economy initiatives that deliver both environmental impact and cost savings. Learn how pioneering organizations are collaborating with suppliers to create closed-loop systems and unlock new revenue streams from waste.

The Scaling Imperative
Innovation at the pilot stage is no longer sufficient. This roundtable will focus on the operational, cultural, and strategic challenges of moving from proof-of-concept to enterprise-wide transformation—and how leading CPOs are driving change that sticks.

March 19th Webinar – How to build a resilient Supply Chain in an era of regular disruptions

In today’s volatile environment, Supply Chain disruptions are no longer isolated events; they are a structural reality.
Geopolitical instability, market fragmentation, regulatory pressure, and climate risks are reshaping the rules of global operations.

For executive leaders, the challenge is no longer about restoring efficiency after each shock, but about answering a more strategic question:
How resilient is our supply chain, and are we governing it as a strategic asset?

Many organisations are still operating with supply chain models designed for stability, predictability, and cost optimisation.
These models are increasingly misaligned with today’s risk landscape and expose companies to significant operational, financial, and reputational vulnerabilities.

At EIPM, we see resilience as a leadership and governance issue, not an operational add-on.

This 45 min webinar is designed for Supply chain and Procurement leaders who want to move beyond reactive crisis management and embed resilience into strategy.

During the session, we will address three critical dimensions:

  • From Efficiency to Resilience — What recent disruptions have revealed about structural weaknesses in current supply chain and procurement models.
  • Building Strategic Resilience — The key capabilities leaders must develop to balance cost, risk, agility and long-term value creation.
  • From Strategy to Execution — A pragmatic framework to translate resilience ambition into clear priorities, governance mechanisms and concrete actions.

This session will provide senior leaders with a clear lens to assess their current maturity, challenge existing assumptions, and define a realistic roadmap towards a more resilient and competitive supply chain.

Join us to elevate resilience from an operational concern to a core executive agenda.

18 September Webinar – Five scenarios on the future of procurement organisations

  • 18 September 2025

  • 10 -11 am (Paris time)

  • Online

  • Participation is free, registration compulsory

The future of procurement is being reshaped before our eyes. With AI, digital transformation, and global megatrends tranforming supply chains, one question demands our attention: What will the procurement function of tomorrow look like?

At EIPM, we’ve tackled this question head-on, developing five compelling scenarios for the future:

  • Agile Squads, Cross-functional teams driving rapid supplier selection.
  • AI-Orchestrated Procurement,  Automated efficiency, steered by human expertise.
  • Ecosystem Transformers,  Breaking industry silos to co-create value across value chains
  • Analyst-Centred Organisations,  Where data intelligence powers every decision.
  • Category-Centric Models, Deep specialisation meets strategic influence.

But here’s the crucial insight: Tomorrow’s leaders won’t simply pick one—they’ll design the right blend to address their unique challenges and ambitions.

In this session, we’ll unpack each scenario, explore the essential skills and capabilities needed to succeed, and discuss how you can start building a future-fit procurement organisation today.

Join us as we chart the course ahead, because the future belongs to those who prepare for it.

We look forward to seeing you there.
