Fifth Generation Purchasing
On the 31st of October 2019, Hervé Legenvre, EIPM Professor and Research Director will be in Luxembourg to share the result of a four-year Research programme: Fifth Generation Purchasing.
This describes the six work modes (see image below) that allow Purchasing leaders to deliver on multiple fronts and to manage the tensions and contradictions that make our works challenging, fascinating and essential.
Following the presentation, two guests will share their reactions: Klaids Lafon de Ribeyrolles and Tolga Tomruk from Vodafone Procurement Company.

As the Director of the EIPM Value Creation Observatory, Hervé acts as a Jury for the EIPM-Peter Kraljic Awards and regularly speaks at in-company and public events.
Hervé blends the best of the academic and practitioner thinking to create a unique learning experience and engaging content. He continuously looks at the trends that will shape the business world in the future.
He believes that the competitive edge of companies will increasingly be co-created with suppliers as innovation needs to be seized outside. He builds on his wide knowledge of invention, innovation and business excellence to create new tools and practices that help engage everyone on what counts most in a fast-changing world.
Previously, Hervé led the EIPM Executive MBA program and led the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) European Excellence Award. Additionally, Hervé worked for Renault Consulting where he led major change initiatives.
